There are number of gossips about new pay band and enhanced grade pay etc. Somebody even showing charts about these. A revised enhanced transport allowance is also in the discussions. Some calculations are also in circulation about fixation and arrears.
But these are not according to any reliable sources. It is heard that DOPT is working on the final shape of the circular which is to be circulated within this week, a source confirmed.
Till then better wait and see. Please do not be misguided with any assumptions.
In the recent news, West Bengal Govt. has also decided to form 5th Pay Committee for their workers. The F.M. Dr. Asim Dasgupta yesterday announced yesterday that the committee will start work from September and will submit it's report 'soon'. It will benefit nearly 10 lac State Govt Employee. He also demanded 50% of the enhanced pay package from the Central Govt.

That's the way a responsible blog should publish. There are lot of rumours flowing around and everybody has become confused. Employees are worried about their pay structure but not about their work culture. In many countries Govt Jobs are considered to be prime jobs but not here...Why? The young generation is not at all interested in these jobs...Why?
Just think about it my dear colleagues, until its too late.
