Employee associations of Jammu and Kashmir seek meeting with Governor

 In a joint consultative meeting, KAS Officers Association, Employees Joint Action Committee (Q), Employees Joint Action Committee (K) and Civil Secretariat Non-Gazetted Employees Union Wednesday sought an appointment with Governor for the implementation of Sixth Pay Commission and increasing of the superannuation age from 58 to 60.
According to a joint statement issued here, it was unanimously decided in the meeting that the Joint Consultative Committee will seek an appointment with Governor Narender Nath Vohra for the resolution of problems of employees.
It would include the implementation of the sixth pay commission and the increase in the superannuation age from 58 to 60.
The meeting was attended amongst others by Farooq Ahmad Renzu, President KAS Officers Association; Abdul Qayoom Wani, President Employees Joint Action Committee (Q); Khurshid Aalam, President Employees Joint Action Committee (K) and Nazir Ahmad, President Civil Secretariat Non-Gazetted Employees.
